Dermaplaning Facial:
Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a 10 gauge scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dull, dead skin cells and fine hairs in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. It does NOT hurt, we promise. This method is applied after the skin is fully cleansed, and we finalize the treatment with a gentle but super hydrating mask by Dermaware. A gentle fruit enzyme peel at our luxury salon is recommended for even more noticeable results. We recommend you refrain from Retin-A, Renova, or alpha or beta hydroxy acid products at least 3-4 days before your facial and for 24 hours after this treatment, also refraining from using scrubs or zinc-based sunscreen as your face will be nicely exfoliated and smooth. This service can be done repeatedly every month to produce more dramatic results, especially when adding a peel to refine the skin even more. Call for details; our experienced esthetician will do a skin analysis before any treatment is given. Our luxury salon does not recommend this treatment for those with acne. We recommend microdermabrasion therapy instead.
